CESA #1 can offer a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to your district, who can:
- Support students and families in general and special education
- Provide consultative support in a Multi-Level System of Support framework with both general education and special education teachers. Support can include team collaboration, direct supervision of staff in behavioral intervention implementation, and support of students in small group settings (e.g., social skills groups, check in/check out) or individually
- Provide Tier 3 individualized support service by conducting assessments and training staff on implementation of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) that incorporate a Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) model
- Provide staff training in conducting a high quality, trauma sensitive FBA .
- Provide traditional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) work with children in special education when needed. (Indicator 4, 5 & 6)
