Overview
Developing and maintaining high-quality early childhood education opportunities for typically developing students and those with IEPs plays a critical role in helping all students realize their full potential. The CESA #1 Early Childhood Network meetings provide dynamic opportunities for professional development, sharing resources, and networking with other Early Childhood professionals (EC/4K/5K).
Meeting topics are grounded in developmentally appropriate and recommended practices, and may include:
- High Quality inclusive practices and service delivery options
- WI Model Early Learning Standards, EC curricula, and UDL
- Assessment practices and progress monitoring to guide instruction
- Special education evaluation, eligibility, and CCR IEP design
- Special Education Indicators (6, 7, and 12)
- Screenings and child find
- Transitions from 0-3 programs through Kindergarten
- Co-teaching and collaboration
- Brain development
- Social Emotional Learning and addressing behaviors adults find challenging
- Family Engagement
- Early Literacy and STEM/STEAM
- Others, as requested by participants

All registered participants will receive a copy of a selected book for group reading and discussion! Make-and-take activities and ready-to-implement resources!
Membership
3K/4K/5K regular education teachers, special educators, program support teachers, related service providers, community partners, and co-teaching teams are encouraged to attend
