Project SEARCH

The Project SEARCH Transition-to-Work Program is a unique, business-led, one-year employment preparation program for 18 to 24-year-old individuals with disabilities that takes place entirely at the workplace.
Total workplace immersion facilitates classroom instruction, career exploration, and hands-on training through worksite rotations. The program culminates in individualized job development to support positive vocational outcomes post-completion.
Through partnerships with Goodwill Industries and the Milwaukee County Zoo, and Creative Employment Opportunities and Children’s Wisconsin, CESA 1 is pleased to offer two Project SEARCH program sites:
- Children's Wisconsin
- Milwaukee County Zoo
