Overview
The ARC Network is CESA #1’s place to find all content related to college and career readiness for students. This includes Academic & Career Planning (ACP), Regional Career Pathways (RCP) and Career & Technical Education (CTE): ARC!
The network format includes a time for state and regional updates, the presentation of best practices from local school districts, collaborative discussions between districts, and a main speaker on a focused topic area related to the network’s goals.
Hybrid Option: Teams can attend in person or virtually.
Objectives:
- Facilitate best-practice sharing across regional districts in the areas of ACP, RCP, and CTE
- Provide technical assistance in the creation, implementation, and review of the Education for Employment (E4E) Plan and the Career Readiness Asset Map (NEW in 2023-2024)
- Explore strategies for improving student equity and access to pathway programs through the lens of Non-Traditional Occupations
- Support the development and implementation of Regional Career Pathway Maps
Membership
Teams Encouraged! Academic & Career Planning (ACP) coordinators and Career & Technical Education (CTE) coordinators, principals, counselors, administrators, special education directors, and classroom teachers
Cost:
There is no cost for this network for district teams of up to 5 members.
