The Herb Kohl Educational Foundation is seeking educators, parents, and community members to read and evaluate applications for the 2026 Wisconsin Teacher Awards. Your scores are vital in determining the award recipients. Award recipients will each receive a $6,000 personal grant and a matching $6,000 grant for their schools. (Please note: As of 2025, student scholarships are no longer being awarded.)
Why volunteer?

Flexible: Anyone can serve—teachers, parents, business professionals, etc.

Convenient: The entire process is online. All you need is a computer and internet access.

Time Commitment: Scoring takes about 20–30 minutes per application.

Scoring Window: January 8 – February 8, 2026.

Training: A brief online training must be completed before scoring.
