New to Wisconsin
Are you an educator who needs to convert an out-of-state license to a Wisconsin educator license?
For educators who completed a non-traditional educator program outside of Wisconsin, our Proficiency-Based Licensure Program can provide guidance and support in obtaining a Wisconsin educator license.
In addition, all educators who completed their preparation outside of Wisconsin can meet the PI-34 statutory stipulations of Conflict Resolution, Human Relations, and Environmental Education via online resources, and examinations. These stipulations must be met before the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) will remove the stipulation(s) from the educator’s license.
