Supplemental License

This option is for licensed Wisconsin educators working in a dual language, bilingual or alternative education environment.

Bilingual/Bicultural (#1023)

Teacher holds a license in a subject area and seeks the 1023 license as a supplemental license
Must be fluent in both English and the target language

Alternative Education (#1952)

Teacher holds a valid Wisconsin license
Must be hired and working in an approved Alternative Education environment

Pre-Student Teaching / Student Teaching Requirements

Full school days, full semester, working as teacher of record in the area you are seeking
licensure as per PI 34.023 (2)

Program Fee - $4,500

Exam Fees - Varies

A $500 nonrefundable deposit is required upon approval to the program and must be made before orientation. This deposit will be applied toward your final program payment.
