Paraprofessional Training

Paraprofessionals are critical to student success, but often do not have the skills or formal training in evidence-based practices to enable them to provide effective support.

Through a special agreement, we are excited to be able to offer the districts in our region a district-wide, lifetime access to two training options developed by Dr. Julie Causton and Dr. Kristie Pretti-Frontczak at a significant cost savings over the list price.

  • Understand the unique needs of students
  • Promote self-advocacy and independence with students
  • Access, understand, and implement the supplementary aids and services in an IEP
  • Respond to emotional dysregulation and unexpected behaviors and coach for implementation of replacement behaviors and regulation strategies
