The Herb Kohl Educational Foundation provides 100 graduating high school seniors with $1,000 in scholarships each year through the Kohl Excellence Scholarship Program. The program searches for students that excel in leadership, academics, and giving back to the community. To be considered a nominee, a student must be in senior standing and planning to continue their education at a post-secondary institution including a public or private college, university, vocational school, or technical college.
