This program is designed to improve the effectiveness of substitute teachers.  Participants will learn basic district and school procedures, age appropriate teaching strategies, classroom management and conflict resolution, health and safety issues, techniques for starting a class, the culture of schools and the profession, lesson plan basics, and working with students with special needs.
