SIMS is a web-based program developed by the Madison Metropolitan School District with the support of the Wisconsin DPI. It was piloted in several Wisconsin school districts during 2008-09 and based on feedback from the pilot program, a statewide version has been developed and is now available to all districts in Wisconsin.
SIMS was designed to document and keep track of the interventions and progress monitoring that educators were using with their students. It incorporates critical features of RtI, including high quality instruction, collaborative problem solving, and the use of data to make educational decisions.
Training and support to implement SIMS will be provided by CESA #1. To learn more about SIMS, click any of the Resource links on the right.
