The Blended Learning Consortium supports CESA #1 districs as they infuse blended learning into their current educational structures and prepare students for innovative learning opportunities. The Institute @ CESA #1 has designed the Educator Effectiveness Evaluation System (EEES) to provide services to districts in the area of educator quality. The EEES is a proficiency-based evaluation system that enables educators to develop effective strategies and interventions to meet the needs of all learners and prepare digital-age learners for our rapidly changing world.

CESA #1 provides high-quality certified English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers are assigned to specific schools or districts or work on an itinerant basis.

The English Language Learner (ELL) Network provides teachers, coordinators and other staff members working with English Language Learners an opportunity to share ideas and concerns, and develop new approaches and solutions for working with ELLs.

CESA #1 provides an experienced English Language Learner (ELL) consultant who can deliver professional development and technical assistance for district and school staff designed to increase academic achievement and English proficiency in students with ELL needs.

The ESEA Network of district leaders meets monthly and provides state and federal updates and sharing opportunities.

Distinguished Students Academy Elementary program for students with Autism (Grades K-8) that helps stabalize a student's emotional regulation and identify necessary strategies and supports so the student can become a more successful learner within the desired educational environment.

Trainings are available on various autism issues, including a general overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with a focus on designing an effective instructional program for students with High Functioning Autism (HFA) or Asperger Syndrome, creating an inclusive classroom, and promoting independence.

The Wisconsin RSN is an alliance of CESA #1 Special Education Directors who work in cooperation with the Department of Public Instruction. Their mission is to improve the quality of educational services to students with disabilities.

CESA #1 offers consultation to support district and school-level Response to Intervention (RtI) efforts. Training/mentoring options are available individually or collectively through an RtI Package Plan.

SWIS was created by the OSEP Technical Assistance Center on Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to be a web-based data collection tool to support the data-based decision making of PBIS teams around discipline data.

Leadership and consultation are available to provide technical assistance in the development of the Local Performance Plan and the preparation for the 20 Indicators and Self Assessment.

Special education program leadership services are available to assist public school systems and agencies with the delivery of special education services through planning, supervision, and consultation.

The Student Intervention Monitoring System (SIMS) is a web-based program designed to document the interventions and progress monitoring that educators use with their students. The training and support to implement SIMS in a district is included.

The Wisconsin Statewide Parent-Educator Initiative (WSPEI) was designed to assist parents and school districts to work together to provide special education services for children.

Proficiency-based program for underserved AT Risk students in grades 9-12. This program uses a curriculum of competencies aligned to the Wisconsin State Standards, ICT Literacy, and 21st Century Skills.
