Itinerant Services

Districts or schools in need of itinerant specialized services for students with disabilities are able to provide high quality care and therapies through CESA #1. Please contact Laura Schieffer for a cost analysis comparison and description of our available services.

Bilingual Interpreter / Translation Services
Experienced bilingual interpreters are available to translate for Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, parent conferences, and other face-to-face situations.
Captionist Services
A Captionist facilitates student/staff communication by providing C-Print or CART captioning services for classroom lectures, discussions, and related activities.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services
CESA #1 provides comprehensive programs and support to enhance learning of all deaf and hearing impaired students.
Early Childhood Services
CESA #1 hires high quality early childhood special education teachers who are assigned to specific programs, districts, or work on an itinerant basis.
Educational Audiology Services
Educational audiology services are available to assist districts in providing educational opportunities for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Occupational Therapy Services
Physical Therapy Services
Occupational and physical therapy services are provided to local school districts for children with disabilities to support their educational program.
Special Ed Diagnostics
CESA #1 offers high-quality special education teachers who provide comprehensive diagnostic services.
Special Ed Teacher
CESA #1 can provide an experienced Special Education teacher to provide direct instruction to students with special needs.
Speech & Language Services
CESA #1 hires quality speech/language pathologists, including those completing their clinical fellowship year (CFY) who are assigned to specific programs, districts, or work on an itinerant basis.
Visually Impaired & Orientation/Mobility Services
CESA #1 provides comprehensive programs and support to enhance learning of all blind and visually impaired students.
