The CESA #1 School Resource Officer Network (SRO) will focus on developing successful relationships with diverse students, providing valuable resources to school staff, and developing strategies to resolve problems affecting youth and protect all students.

This network meets four times throughout the school year to learn together, receive updates, study case examples, network to share successes and discuss challenges, and model and share district programs. Keys to Beginning Reading - November 14, 2024 http://www.cesa1.k12.wi.us/pro/event_view.cfm?eventid=453100&memberid=888 The Keys to Beginning Reading blended course is organized into 11 modules tightly aligned with state standards. The course will require 36 hours asynchronous learning and 4 live facilitated sessions. Participants complete modules, followed by facilitated sessions.

During the four facilitated sessions, the CESA #1 Keys to Literacy trainer provides a collaborative opportunity to debrief activities completed during the online course, share ideas for connecting the course to classroom instruction, and answer questions about course content.

Become an Effective Substitute Teacher (Virtual) - April 7, 2025 http://www.cesa1.k12.wi.us/pro/event_view.cfm?eventid=476283&memberid=888 This two-day virtual training will provide the basic skills necessary to successfully substitute teach at any level. Participants will also learn how to obtain a substitute teacher license. Participants must attend both days of training to obtain verification of training.
