Integrating Career-based Learning in the Classroom - November 29, 2017 http://www.cesa1.k12.wi.us/pro/event_view.cfm?eventid=377211&memberid=78 Academic and Career Planning (ACP) calls for an all hands on deck approach in which career exploration is woven into the fabric of a district’s curriculum in all subject areas. However, it can sometimes be difficult for classroom teachers to figure out how to integrate relevant activities along with all the other demands they are faced with. Inspire, a tool that many districts have elected to add into their Career Cruising account, can provide much needed support to teachers who want to integrate ACP activities and bring real world application into their classroom! In this workshop you will learn about Inspire, receive classroom activity ideas and spend time planning on how you and your district will use this tool in your classrooms.

Network meetings are a prime opportunity to connect, consume, create and contribute with each other. This year we are moving to quarterly network meetings to better foster connection and contribution among members. The vision of creating learner-centered ecosystems is powered by the collective contributions of our network, as such we strongly encourage every district to send at least one representative to the meetings. Districts typically send between 1-4 people to network meetings.
