Wisconsin's educator licensing laws, PI 34, are designed to provide additional support to new educators and to enrich the license renewal process for all educators. CESA #1 provides support directly to educators and also to districts to help with these efforts.
Due to PI 34, educators in Wisconsin are now grouped into three stages. In addition to the new stages, there are new processes for license renewal. The process an educator follows for renewing their license depends on their current stage.
The License Renewal Support Center (LRSC) can guide educators through the PI 34 process and help streamline the process to make it an even more meaningful experience. Services available to educators are listed below:

PDP Development Workshop
Participants get hands-on practice as they learn how to develop and implement an effective Professional Development Plan.

Educators can get one-on-one support from a state-certified PDP reviewer while writing their PDP. |

PDP Goal Approval or Plan Verification
CESA #1 has a cadre of certified PDP Reviewers available. Educators can select one, two, or all three of their reviewers from our cadre. |
