CESA #1 offers a two-component assessment that districts and schools may use in deciding whether paraprofessionals are highly qualified. This assessment will reflect the state academic standards and the basic reading, writing, and math skills expected for 8th grade students, as well as an individual's ability to correct typical errors in student work.
CESA #1 will:

Administer and score the assessment

Provide a report of the results to the test taker and a district of the test taker's choice

Provide the results of a regional performance standard study designed to determine a reasonable level of performance for each component of the assessment

Provide a certificate that may be completed by an employing principal that recognizes the individual as a highly qualified paraprofessional
Fees*:

Assessment Fee: $130 per person

Optional Fee: $20 per person for optional test preparation materials (practice tests). Materials will be shipped to you upon receipt of payment.

Retake Fees: There are retake tests available for an additional fee.
*Payment in the form of a check, money order, or cash is due at the time of service. Credit cards not accepted.

Tests will be administered at the CESA #1 office in Pewaukee
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received 24 hours prior to the start of the assessment for a refund to be issued.
